Whenever someone brings a layout issue to your attention regarding Internet Explorer the first, almost instinctual, conclusion you come to is that it must be a CSS bug in IE's rendering. Usually it is. A few Google searches later and you've found someone who's diagnosed the issue, you implement the fix and you're good to go.

However, what happens when it's not Internet Explorer's fault?

Wikivid

Usually, if I need to learn how to do something, like embed a flash video on a Web site using my own controls, I look it up in a book or ask Google. Now I'm going to start going to a new resource first. I just came across a nifty wiki site called Wikivid that's all video tutorials of various applications.

"Wikivid is an encyclopedia of informative videos. Each content page is made up of links to free videos layed out as a video-course for anyone to watch and learn."

I've already gone through a few tutorials and they were all pretty well done. I was able find out exactly what I wanted to learn. Some are better than others, but even the worst one I came across was still easier than hunting around in a book or searching the Web.

If you don't have the latest software, no problem! Wikivid even has tutorials for older software. Now, go learn something.
